Overview:


Our client has a growing presence in the Renewable Energy Industry. As an independent power producer, they work with clients and partners to accelerate the transition to a clean-energy future by investing in local communities. They are seeking a candidate who values collaboration, innovation, and authenticity to join their team as a Staff Accountant to support their growth.

 

This position will support accounting, tax, and financial reporting activities for a portfolio of structured investment funds. This role partners closely with internal accounting teams and cross-functional groups in asset management and development. Key responsibilities include managing the close process, performing reconciliations, supporting financial reporting, tracking project-level cash activity, and driving process improvements across multiple fund and project entities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support accounting workflows across multiple fund entities and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain close schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Perform account reconciliations (bank and intercompany) to ensure accuracy.
  • Record cash transactions, revenue, expenses, and cost of goods sold across various portfolios.
  • Assist with financial statement preparations, consolidations, and external reporting.
  • Partner with internal teams to track, reconcile, and report on project budgets and actual spending.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting analysis and support special projects as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (Corporate or Public) from Construction, Industrial, or Real Estate.
  • Proficiency utilizing MS Excel and, preferably, NetSuite ERP.
  • Strong communication and inter-department collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
